In my "Seasons"
Shalom! As my children run to and fro in my home, I hear their laughter, I can literally feel their footsteps shaking my piano, where I sit and write to you! (our computer sits on the top part of our piano) What a Journey it has been for us DeLapps in the last 2 years. We have been blessed with 2 sons (making a total of 5 now!), we have endured several moves in which have humbled us and really caused us to search our hearts and really seek out His face and direction for our lives. We have gone back and forth, up and down in our own hearts, seeking out our own ways. We have been inspired and given the desires of our hearts, yet to see it was only carnal and not truly our calling and purpose for our family. We may get those things back in another "season" but not now, not while the harvest is ready, and the workers are few. Everything that is within us has to put forth in submission to the true calling He has set before us. Gabriel and I see that now... we can feel it. It aches within us, especially when we draw closer to Abba Yah and to His Son Yahushua! These songs and scriptures breathe forth the very nature we have gone through and continue to go through. They speak the very depths of my heart.. for you and I to find great strength within the shadow of Abba's wings. For us to be ready and willing and able to do what it is His has called for us to do. Even if it completely turns everything upside down. That's the point. We aren't here for ourselves... we are here to train up our children, to lead and encourage many to the love and restoration in Yahushua, through His shed blood. It's in all of us, we are all called. We are of one Body... even if you are a pinky or a toe nail you are still part of the body and if that part is absent then the body in incomplete. You are important... I am important. SOoo...
Rom 12:1 I call upon you, therefore, brothers, through the compassion of Elohim, to present your bodies a living offering – set-apart, well-pleasing to Elohim – your reasonable worship.
Rom 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you prove what is that good and well-pleasing and perfect desire of Elohim.
Rom 12:3 For I say, through the favour which has been given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he should think, but to think soberly, as Elohim has given to each a measure of belief.
Rom 12:4 For as we have many members in one body, but all members do not have the same function,
Rom 12:5 so we, the many, are one body in Messiah, and members each one of one another.
Having said all that, we are still seeking.. we know the direction, yet we are learning how to take the first few steps. Like a child learning to walk, nervous and excited. But, still bailing out when the pressure is mounting up. We continue to work through those things, but we know that the child doesn't crawl forever.. they begin walk, then run! and Oy, do they run! I have 5 children now and (I giggle here) well, 4 are running! talking! singing! dancing! wrestling! fighting! Arguing! (sigh...) It never stops. So as we embark and step out, we are excited to be bringing you along. This is our Season.. your season... Another season of learning, trusting, obeying and walking out the true and set-apart will of Our Abba Yahweh! No matter what it is for all of us may we find great strength to be BOLD and COURAGEOUS to do what we were made to DO!
Shalom for now.... Sady k. :)
Heb 12:1 We too, then, having so great a cloud of witnesses all around us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race set before us,
Heb 12:2 looking to the Princely Leader and Perfecter of our belief, יהושע, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the stake, having despised the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of Elohim.
